Joy Rides

If you just want a taste of what it is like to fly in a helicopter then take a low-cost joy ride.

Helicopter flights depart on the last Saturday of most months, from Schulte’s Meat Tavern at Plainland or the Australian Motorcycle Museum at Haigslea.

We also operate helicopter joy flights at various shows and trade events throughout the year.

Junior Aviator Program

This program is especially for kids who have a passion for aircraft, helicopters and flying, and would like to get some hands-on experience preparing the helicopter and includes quite a bit of flying!

Charter

Pterodactyl Helicopters along with the National Paintball Fields offers a helicopter joy flight as part of paintball packages and events. At present all flights can be taken from one of our standard landing sites at Woodlands of Marburg, Warrego Wines or The Motorcycle Museum. We are looking to have a landing site at the NPF Blacksoil sometime in the future.
